People are very petty on facebook, and last night i deleted a bunch of people who aren't worth my time, who i do not hang out with in real life, or people who i don't talk to anymore and i can care less. One thing i love is when somebody gives you the virtual 'flip-off' and delete you off facebook to prove a point, because all THAT really proves is that they weren't your true friend to begin with and when you realize that-- it won't hurt your feelings. Some people are dellusional and think they can use facebook to their advantage to make friends, but that's not what facebook is for, that is for a thing called 'myspace'. I will admit i have accepted strangers and even requested strangers, but i have never been real friends with anybody i have befriended on facebook that i didnt know in real life beforehand. My advice: KEEP FACEBOOK FOR PEOPLE WHO ARE IN YOUR INNER CIRCLE. That's the positive side but I've realised that the majority of people on our little part of Facebook aren't really interested in any serious discussion about any of the matters that are crucial to our survival as a species, all they want to write about is trivial crap that I find embarrassing. My own daughter who is 33, old enough to know better, will write about the most trivial events in her day, stuff that interests no one, not even her if the truth were known. I post a video or a link to some world shattering event or political move that we all need to be aware of and act about and I'm amazed by the silence. If it's news that isn't on the controlled mainstream corporate media it doesn't exist as far as most people are concerned. Eventually they will be concerned but it's a bit hard to act against a fascist dictator "after" he's run amok and has you chained to a wall in some cellar. Then they'll say, "but why didn't anyone tell us this stuff" Idiots! Sometimes I agree with the elites' belief that most of the population is too stupid to make its own decisions or at least I can understand why the Rockefellers of this world think this way.
