The moderator is in fact writing a book about Obama, but with all the scrutiny received her moderating was unremarkable. She was nowhere close to being as good as Steve Paikin (Canada) though. When I get a quiet moment, I'll try watching the video. I understand the American moderator had a conflict of interest involving a book she's written deifying Obama (book release date set to coincide with Obama's inauguration) and, according to a right-wing friend in the States, her moderation left a bit to be desired. I was very happy with the moderator in the Canadian debate. He was fair, didn't ask leading questions and tried to give each person an opportunity to respond.
